Goodman’s Haberdashery and Clothing for Men/Boys was established in 1923 and closed in 1990. 1st Street, as far as the eye could see, was the commercial center of Hoboken, and was serviced by a trolley car.

Preserved slab serif type on the 1853 sugar warehouse building in TriBeCa (NY). This was Grocers Steam Sugar Refining Company and was later sold to the United States Sugar Refining Company.

The imposing and faded advertisement for TIP TOP TAILORS (c.1914), on RIchmond St. near John St. in Toronto (Ontario). Bell Media Radio presently resides at this location. Tip Top Tailors was a Canadian mens-wear clothing retailer founded in Toronto in 1909 by David Dunkleman.

A rare faded type find on Richmond St. near John St. in Toronto (Ontario). The GELBER  BROS. LIMITED sign is on a 1920s warehouse building that housed the Gelber Brothers Wholesale Woollens & Yard Goods.

Found Art Nouveau carved stone type in the Southam Building name (Montreal, Quebec). This early 1916 structure was the Southam Printing Incorporated building, and is now Southam Lofts.
